Private Yoga Sessions
I provide private restorative yoga sessions and small group yoga classes out of TRIBE YOGA. As a Registered Yoga Teacher, I’m a strong believer in the mind-body connection and recognize the power that it holds. My teaching method in both private and group settings is designed to support all yogis (new, seasoned, and anywhere in between!) in finding physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual balance.
Restorative yoga is a practice of stillness and ease. The postures in a restorative practice are designed to activate the parasympathetic nervous system in order to allow for just this to occur. In a private session, you will be physically guided through the postures, which are fully supported by blankets, bolsters, and blocks. With this, you have no responsibility other than to just be present and enjoy the stillness. Contact me if you’re interested in learning more!
Group Yoga Classes
I teach regular weekly vinyasa flow yoga classes at TRIBE YOGA in Oneonta. Vinyasa yoga links breath and movement. When you come to my classes, you can expect a flow that includes a grounding meditation, sun salutations, balance, standing, and seated postures- all with an emphasis on the breath. My intention with all of my classes is to support students in building strength, flexibility, and balance, while also cultivating feelings of connection and groundedness in the self.
